Another exciting week at the Velopark. This was my first race after 4 weeks off due to a broken rib or two. I was late to the line so I failed to get a start that would launch me to the front of the race. As you know, being relegated early only puts you further from the front of the race in the first two laps. It changes the race to one of just moving up, which is it's own kind of fun. I managed to to that fairly well, as the video should show.

Only one crash, but it was a funny one. I "turtled" and didn't even come unclipped. I have gotten so go at crashing that it has become fluid.

I hope you enjoy.

Cyclocross: Wafflecross (Video)

This was a wonderful course that I had little bit of trouble navigating. Let's just say I found the dirt a couple times. I ended up on my side three different times and twice on the same corner. From what I'm told, the Sunday races were a crash on every corner because of the rain and mud.

Congratulations to those who organized this event, it was fabulous.

I managed to catch a handful of crashes in this race including my own. No one was hurt to my knowledge although I have some tender ribs. :-)

Sandy Point (SICX1)

This was a really fun course. Design by Alex Phipps, it had a ton of direction changes as do all of the Sandy Point events.it's not that big of a place and has very few areas where you can just go straight for a while. The sand was killer. Enjoy the two camera look. I think I'm going to add a third camera :-).

I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed racing it. Thank to Sherwin and Liggett for the extra help.
