Nationals
Kris road smart and smooth race. My legs weren't there for my race. That hill hurt unbelievably. Sam can second that. The 40-44 men's age group (Feldman's race) was a great race to watch, but I have to say the Pro race was the race to see with Trebon powering up the hill and away from J. Page and Todd Wells to catch up to J. Driscoll and J. Anthony. He was phenomenal. His power riding yesterday was awesome. One interesting observation was at the top of the hill there was a stairs section with a 180 degree chicane (like at the Velopark race) and almost all racers road it while Trebon ran it dragging his bike by the bar behind him. He never shouldered or suitcased it. I guess having long legs (e.g. Brian F.) helps. Rumor has it that Nationals will be held in Bend, OR or Spokane, WA next year. So fellow cxers we have a year to get ready for it. Russell
Right on!
Russ,
I followed Cyclocross Magazine's live streaming coverage all weekend. Top 20 is stellar!!! I laud your efforts. I hope Nationals make it out West next year because I am there right with you! Good job. Fuller
