State Championship Results

not even a press release to Local paper. D$ and I got our entry fee money back- but had to rally hard to get Shawn paid for his win! (like$40!!). another- "take the money and run "scenario. except it was a fun wekend and we loved it. let's do it again- and ask if we can help or try to get some more sponsors or whatever it takes! State champs might have to move to Boise next time.

you guys are right on the mark about the results taking so long. i am sorry about that. in an effort to improve crosstoberfest, and the rest of the Road & Dirt events, i purchased a chip timing system. rather than post the hand timed results that where posted at the event i was trying to get the chip timed results posted. The timing system and software are a little more complex than you might think and this has been working me. i should have just posted what i had two weeks ago. i will submit them later today. we are putting together a facebook page for R&D and will have results from all of the races we have promoted the last 8 years.

for the record: there was prize money advertised for saturday not sunday. it was advertised that we would award 50% cash back to the pros for saturday we gave more than 50%. sunday being a championship event has never been for cash. When D$ asked for some prize money on Sunday i thought about it for a second and again i awarded more than 50% of entry fees for a race that had no cash, i want people to be stoked and come back.

davehrox- another take the money and run event??? are you kidding? maybe next time instead of weasleing your way into the tech area 'for free' maybe you should kick down some prize $$$ and support the event. without races there are no racers

Thanks to all who came to the event. i had a great time running it and look forward to doing it next year. hopefully ill have the timing system working well by then. i am gettiing closer!
