Weather is being very cross friendly!

After the heat we had last weekend, it is finally looking like we might have some good cross weather. If the weather holds we might even have some slick, mucky conditions on those nasty off camber hills that the Reel boys use :)

Eagle Island conditions

Anyone know what the goathead situation is over at Eagle Island?

Good

I am been riding out there for the last few weeks and we have changed the course to keep away from the goatheads. So I have had no goatheads picked up on my tires since I have been going out there. So I would say we are good to go.

Thanks

I wanted to run my tubulars but was terrified of puncturing them. Maybe I'll give it a go.

Goatheads No More!

Hi Mike,

I changed the coarse so it does not go up on the little hill with the 180 degree turn on the backside of the lake. I really liked that little hill but that was were all the goatheads are at. We now skip that part and as Harris mentioned, some of us have been riding out at the park over the past month or so and so far, I have never picked up a single goathead.

Mike, I even road the little

Mike, I even road the little hill with the 180 on Tuesday for a few laps and no goatheads for me either...

Cool.

Great no goatheads. Can you promise rain as well:)

Yup

Of course. As of Thursday the course has a couple of sloppy areas. If we get rain today or tomorrow it will make it that much better.
