Today's race was like a Toby Keith song, good fun and just enough rowdy! Great job Broken Spoke on the setup I don't know who the mastermind was but I loved it...."I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I've ever been"...one more to go hope to see everyone back tomorrow toting toys aplenty! thanks for the tight racing gents!

That was a brutal course wasn't it? I was so toasted after the 45+ race that I did not even try to start the Cat 2 race and after watching the carnage that followed; knew that I had made the correct decision. The BS'ers are the masters of course design!
Toys for Tots race today should be a real sufferfest!
Another Fabulous Day at Sandy Point!
Really, it doesn't get much better than that! Kudos to the course designers...I suffered big time, and loved every minute of it. Every weekend is getting better and better with bigger crowds and riders having more and more epics. I saw SO many people skidding-out, falling over, tagging course tape, a face-plant on the beach, and smiles on everyone's faces. Cross-season at it's best! Thank you all for the memories!
Sandy Pt
Can you believe it!!! Two of the best races yet. Rain, snow and the best course layouts to date. I was so stoked I could barely sleep. You gotta hand it to the Broken Spokes outfit. This type of commitment combined with a suppportive group of racers is what makes it all worth it. From the course setup to the post race swag giveaways and don't forget the BEER, I feel that we have developed an awesome smaller market race season that feels like big time racing. Have ya all noticed the added younger racers and how big the groups are now. Thank you Broken Spokes and all of our other contributors for making cross possible. See ya at Nats. Long live CROSS!!!!
SICX Races
Thank you to everyone who made all the races this year possible! I wasn't even planning to race cross this year, and it has been the most fun I think I ever had! For a newbie with no idea how this was supposed to work, it has been a great experience. I'm already looking forward to next year. By the way, does anyone have a good way to convince someone else to try it? I'm working on a friend or two, and I don't think I'm making progress yet. See ya all at the Velopark!
